MAMaster.com was founded by Thomas
Ho and Edmund Sim in June 2004 with the inaugural Judo Throwing/Grappling Seminar
conducted by Sensei Tang Soon Onn of SA Judo School. With a combined martial art training experience
of 47 years, both Edmund and Thomas have trained with many masters in numerous martial art styles. In Jan 2005, Mr. Tay Yong
Sing joined the MAMaster project team.

Thomas Ho ]
Thomas
is a full time private tutor and holds a degree in Business
Administration from the University of Western Sydney. He also
conducts speech & drama lesson on a part time basis. Thomas
obtained his blackbelt in Korean Hapkido from Flying Eagle
Hapkido Association in 1991 and he also holds a Black Belt in Taekwondo. He has also trained in Shaolin Kungfu, Wing Chun, XingYi and Seven Star Praying Mantis. Thoma currently holds a Black Belt 4th dan in Hapkido and is a qualified PA coach registered under People's Association.
[ Edmund Sim ]
Edmund Sim is a pharmacist by profession. He graduated from the National University of Singapore where he was also the Chairman of NUS Nam Wai Pai in 1991/2. Edmund was also a member of the Temasek Junior College Chinese Puglistic Club from 1987 to 1988.
As a eclectic martial artist and enthusiast, Edmund has trained with many masters in various martial art styles over more than 2 decades. He holds Black Belt in Shitoryu Karate, Taekwondo, Korean Hapkido, Chanbara, Nam Wai Pai and Shunlin Wushu. Edmund has also received training in martials arts like Judo, Jujitsu, Kobudo, Bujinkan Ninjutsu, HanMuDo, Jeet Kune Do and Shaolin Kungfu.
With a keen interest in traditional chinese kungfu and internal arts, Edmund has trained with many renowed chinese coaches which include Grandmaster Gao XingLiang (Seven Star Praying Mantis), Grandmaster Zhou ShuSheng (Eagle Claw Kungfu), Mdm Pan ShuYi (Yang & Sun Style Taich), Grandmaster Liu Jinru (Cheng style BaGua Zhang), Dr. Ma Xuzhou (Ma Style Qigong), Grandmaster Yao ChengGuang (Yi Quan) and Master Zhou Yuewen (Hsing Yi). In the area of Hard Qigong, Edmund received his training from Grandmaster Sim Poh Huat (Nam Wai Pai) and Grandmaster Teo Choon Teck (San Cheen Do).
Edmund continues to practice Shitoryu Karate and also train under the supervision of Master Zhou Yuewen
(Xing Yi / HsingYi Quan) and Mdm Pan ShuYi (Yang Taichi)

Tay Yong Sing ]
Yong
Sing holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science
and is currently working as a software developer/business
development executive in the IT industry. As a martial arts
enthusiast/practitioner, Yong Sing has been practicing martial
arts since he was a kid. Some of the arts that he has trained
in are Jujitsu, Aikido, Krav Maga, Jeet Kune Do, Khong Chang and Hapkido. He is currently conducting Jeet Kune Do classes in Singapore. .
